A guided walk for Himalayan Children

Please join us for a walk in aid of  Himalayan Children on Sunday May 15th 2016.

The circular walk in the Quantock Hills starts at 10am from Crowcombe Park Gate and will be approximately 7 miles long.

It’s a beautiful and very picturesque walk, with lots of variety; coastal views, pretty moorland and woodland.

Walking attire

Please be sure to wear walking boots/suitable footwear as the ground can be uneven in places, e.g pebbles and slippery if there has been a lot of rain. As ticks can be present on the moorland, you should make it more difficult for them to reach your skin by wearing shoes rather than sandals, tuck long trousers into socks or wear gaiters and keep to paths.

Tea and Cakes

You will be pleased to know that Gail’s usual stall will be en route, laden with scrumptious cake and plenty of tea!

How to take part

For the usual minimum donation of £5 to Himalayan Children, you will get a map of the walk, together with route instructions. You can either pick one up in advance from Gail’s salon, email admin@himalayanchildren.co.uk, or you can arrive a little earlier on the day and Gail will have them ready at the start of the walk.

All donations raised by this great walk will go to Himalayan Children.
